Learn to embrace failure, uncertainty and social envy, and mari kita (let us) be the best version of ourselves!
And most importantly, spread the message to others. Real learning comes not just from our own doing, but from sharing what we know with others.
Requirements
Have a growth mindset! All of us need to start somewhere, be willing to learn and give new things a try!
Be a post-secondary youth who can engage your peers over a 6-month period.
Have some experience in leadership, organising events and engaging peers. If not, we're here to guide you if you have a growth mindset!
Your mission
Take part enthusiastically in a fun kick-off workshop (next run likely to start in late Jun 2026) and subsequent bite-sized workshops, to pick up some skills to empower confidence in your peers!
Design and carry out 1 outreach event to raise awareness of the Ride The Wave concepts of overcoming failure, uncertainty and social envy, with the goal of dispelling stigmas and encouraging healthy habits.
Engage your peers 1-on-1 if you see them going through a tough time (for about 6 months)—provide a listening ear and just be a friend!
You'll be given a cool budget to do the above, a project team coach to guide you on the outreach event, and your very own personal leadership coach as you build up your leadership skills during this programme!

This workshop is just an intro. Based on your feedback and popular demand, we'll be happy to work with coaches to organise more workshops to facilitate your journey and growth as a Youth Ambassador!
