DISC is a framework developed by psychologist William Moulton Marston.
It shows an individual’s profile in 4 primary traits:
Dominance
Influence
Steadiness
Compliance
Each person has varying levels of these traits.
There’s no good or bad. DISC just indicates which of your trait(s) are stronger.
The DISC self-discovery tool is designed to measure and understand an individual’s behavioural preferences, tendencies, and communication styles. Through this profile, you can learn more about your strengths, communication preferences, decision-making styles and areas for motivation.
It’s not a test! There’s no right or wrong answer and there are no grades.
The tool serves as a reference. For example, it doesn’t indicate how good you are at sports, your sense of humour, what values you hold dear, or how intelligent you are.
You can:
Gain insight into your behavioural styles.
Increase your self-knowledge and possibly uncover some limiting beliefs.
Serve as a reference to help you develop strategies for personal breakthroughs.
Support you in enhancing your leadership skills, whether you’re a leader or aspiring to be one.
