This is probably the hardest page to write. Because it's about purpose.
Purpose is what makes us who we are. Everyone has a different purpose. What is yours? What are you passionate about?
At Break the Wheel, we want to empower youth. Sometimes we hear things like "Oh, that's so vague!", "Oh, that sounds so similar to ABC!"
We respectfully disagree. How we do things matter. We like to do things differently. We pour our heart into it. We call ourselves a nonprofit startup, because we want to be all the good things about being a startup—agile, creative, mission-driven, and impact-focused.

What our volunteers say
I volunteer with Break The Wheel because I’ve seen first-hand, as a tutor, how intense academic pressure can be for youths. Many of them work hard, but still feel stuck measuring their worth by grades alone. Break The Wheel’s coaching programmes create a space for youths to explore their goals and contribute beyond academic achievements, so that they can grow with clarity and confidence. That’s a cause I identify with! As a volunteer, I support the social media work and build my skills at the same time.
